Rotary is a worldwide organization with 33,000 clubs in over 171 countries with more than 1.3 million members worldwide. Members subscribe to the motto “Service Above Self”, volunteer in their communities and promote world understanding and peace.
On the local level, we are a service club that is focused on doing things in and for our local community. Our purpose is to provide encouragement, expertise and financial support to important local projects. In the last two years, we have given $45,000 to individuals and to groups doing important things in the Centralia community. We are able to make these donations through a variety of fund raising activities, including the Anchor Fest food booth, the Football Concession Stand, and the Fish Fry.
More than just service projects and donations, we are interested in learning about what is going on in the community.
Our local mission is to have members who are active in the community and who are willing to share their time and talents to help those in need. The friendships and fellowship developed by Rotary membership will help you create a strong network in the community and establish life-long friendships
The Centralia Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at noon at the Centralia United Methodist Church. The meetings begin with a meal, a short business meeting and a program of local interest with a focus on giving back to the community. Please come join us when it is convenient to you!

The eradication of polio is a special priority for Rotary International, which made a commitment to immunize the world’s children against polio in 1985 and became a spearheading partner in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative three years later.
